Hurricane Dorian Relief

We will take A Special Offering for UMCOR to assist with Hurricane Dorian’s aftermath on September 29. UMCOR – The United Methodist Committee on Relief is in action now and will continue to serve as needed. Your donations go directly to the relief efforts.

The Sharing & Caring Soup Kitchen

The Sharing & Caring Soup Kitchen  asks our angels for some delicious, healthy, hearty soups for the upcoming cold weather seasons. Please label with date and type, they become unrecognizable once frozen.

Join the Choir!

join-choir Come and make a joyful noise to the Lord!! Our NEW choir room is open on the main floor of the Education Building (no more stairs) and is waiting for YOU.  We need all parts and welcome high school and above.  No audition is necessary.  Join us on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. and sing at the 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday and special services throughout the year. Choir rehearsals begin on Thursday, September 5; choir room is air conditioned!  We look forward to seeing new people and hearing new voices.

The Food Pantry

The Food Pantry Remember our Food Pantry as you shop this week:

juice, peanut butter, jelly, rice (2lb or smaller) tuna, corned beef hash, stew, Spam, canned meats, chili, instant potatoes, canned peas, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dish detergent, bar soap, laundry soap, shampoo.

In addition to non-perishable food items, cash donations and supermarket gift cards are needed and gratefully accepted to assist in meeting the current demands of our food pantry

Thank you for your cash & donated food items that help us care for our patrons. At this time, we are in need of able-bodied helpers to be a "back up" when needed. Hours are Tuesday & Thursday from 10 - 12 noon.
